Brimming with colour, texture and light, Rachael Gorton’s paintings reimagine gardens and natural spaces, translating fleeting moments of seasonal change into lasting impressions.  From the hush of woodlands to the intensity of a summer meadow, her work evokes the richness of being fully present in the natural world — not just its forms, but its feeling.  Layered with thick paint, her canvases catch changing light and seem to shift, bringing a new dimension to any space.  These are pieces that ground, uplift, and transform everyday spaces into personal encounters with colour, texture and the wonder of the living world.

Current & Upcoming Shows:

Intensely coloured scene with trees, water and a bridge. Warm yellows and oranges beyond the bridge, purples and oranges illuminate tree structures, hints of pale blue throughout, dominated by bright pinks across the lower part of the scene and among tree canopies, suggesting a blossom display.
